Who we are
We are a small team based in Kunming and Chongqing. We know which hospital to send you to for which problem, how the registration and payment apps work, where to stay near each hospital, and what to do with a Tuesday afternoon when your appointment is on Wednesday.
China's top-grade hospitals, arranged for you
BeWellTrip connects international patients with China's top-grade public hospitals. These are Grade III-A hospitals, the highest level in China's hospital system, with the specialists, equipment and patient numbers to match.
We are based in Kunming and Chongqing. Most of our dental, health checkup and TCM wellness trips happen there, but we arrange care across the country: 66 hospitals in 26 cities, from Beijing and Shanghai to Guangzhou, Chengdu and Wuhan. Tell us what you need and we find the right hospital and department, wherever it is. When treatment is done, we show you Yunnan and Chongqing.
We are not doctors and we don't give medical advice. What we do is the part that is hard from abroad: working out which hospital department you need, booking the appointment, meeting you at the airport, sitting next to you and interpreting while the doctor talks, and sorting out the hotel, the car and the SIM card. If the hospital's answer is that a trip isn't worth it, we pass that on before you book anything.
A few things we will not do
We will not promise a medical result. The doctors decide what is possible, and we pass on what they say.
We will not hide our fee inside the hospital bill. You get both figures, in writing, before you pay anything.
We will not ask for your X-rays or records through the website. Your coordinator sets up a private channel when the hospital needs them, and nothing is shared without your consent.
We will not leave you waiting for days. Someone on our team is on WhatsApp 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can message us whenever it suits you.
