• Oral medicineHosts the National Center of Stomatology and the National Clinical Research Center for Oral Diseases. Its national clinical key specialties include oral and maxillofacial surgery, endodontics, periodontology, prosthodontics, orthodontics and oral mucosal disease.
• Plastic and reconstructive surgeryA national key discipline and national clinical key specialty, with services in microsurgical reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, vascular anomalies, lymphatic surgery, hand surgery and burn reconstruction.
• Oral and head and neck oncologyCombines surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, laser treatment, prosthetic rehabilitation, embolisation and molecular targeted treatment. The department treats oral cancer and vascular malformations and provides reconstruction of craniofacial tissue defects.
• OphthalmologyA national clinical key specialty with a focus on oculoplastic and orbital disease. Services include thyroid eye disease, orbital fracture repair, cataract surgery, glaucoma care and retinal surgery.
• OrthopaedicsA national key discipline and national clinical key specialty. Teams cover joint surgery, sports medicine, trauma, spinal surgery, bone tumours and foot and ankle surgery.
