• Liver oncologyThe department of hepatobiliary oncology and liver transplantation is a national key discipline in oncology and a National Health Commission clinical key discipline. Its surgeons provide liver tumour resection and comprehensive treatment for liver cancer.
• Kidney diseaseHosts the Shanghai Clinical Medical Center for Kidney Disease and Shanghai Clinical Research Center for Kidney Disease. Services include haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and treatment of acute kidney injury, IgA nephropathy and lupus nephritis.
• Therapeutic endoscopyProvides endoscopic treatment for early gastrointestinal cancers and submucosal tumours, including endoscopic submucosal dissection and full-thickness resection. Services also include peroral endoscopic myotomy for achalasia.
