Nanbin Road and the Nanshan viewpoint
A riverside promenade facing the skyline, and a hilltop platform looking down on the whole city at night.
Nanbin Road runs along the south bank of the Yangtze, opposite the towers of Yuzhong. It is a long, flat riverside walk with the skyline lit up across the water, and plenty of places to eat along the way.
Above it, on Nanshan (South Mountain), the Yikeshu viewing platform looks down over the rivers, bridges and city lights.
Suggested itinerary
- Early eveningDinner and a walk on Nanbin Road as the lights come on.
- LaterA short drive up to the Nanshan viewpoint, then back to the hotel.
Good to know
The promenade is flat and easy, so this suits a treatment day. The viewpoint is busy on weekend evenings; we can arrange a car so you don't have to queue for taxis on the hill.
